Is the LLM LPC worth it? The LLM LPC will allow you to cover both qualifications more quickly than if you were to take them separately. The two birds/one stone approach will possibly save you money too; you won't have to fork out for an extra year of living expenses too in this sense.

Is LPC easier than LLB?
Compared to the GDL, I found the LPC a lot easier as it's less theoretical and more practical so to score well you just need to focus on applying the law to the facts in front of you.

I think it definitely helps. When you get through the automatic filters, firms will look at your academics as a "package", good LPC grades do demonstrate commitment and ability and will help off-set A-level grades. However it won't get you past the automatic filter which some firms apply on A-level grades.

Do law firms look at LPC grade?
Application systems across the legal profession are heavily focused on academic grades. The general requirements for most employers will be A grades at A-level and GCSE, at least a 2:1 in your degree, and at least a commendation on the GDL and/or LPC, or 'very competent' on the BPTC.
