There is no longer a "Queen's Counsel" (QC) because following Queen Elizabeth II's death in September 2022, the title automatically changed to King's Counsel (KC) for all existing QCs and new appointments under King Charles III, so the current holders are now KCs, representing top legal advocates appointed by the monarch.
